Happy New Year, here we are in January and already a good start to the year.

It is always nice to be recognised for our contributions, and to mark milestones in our life. Dr Pang received two items recently which were unexpected, but a pleasant surprise.

The first was a plaque from the University of Western Australia in recognition of his long term commitment to orthodontic education. Dr Pang undertakes clinical supervision of post-graduate orthodontic students at the Oral Health Centre of WA every fortnight. He also hosts the students at our practice, to give them insight into working in a private orthodontic clinic and to introduce them to a larger variety of clinical treatment.

The second was a Certificate of Recognition of 25 years membership of the Australian Dental Association (ADA).  Dr Pang has been a member of the ADA since September 1999, when he first started working in Perth. How that time has flown by!

Speaking of acknowledging achievements, our Good Toothbrushing winner for December 2024 was Amelia. Congratulations and well done, Amelia. Keep up the good work in maintaining healthy teeth with braces!
