Dr Pang – Adjunct Senior Lecturer, UWA School of Dentistry

Congratulations are in order for Dr Pang! He received a lovely letter from The University of Western Australia recently, advising that the Vice-Chancellor has agreed to confer on him the title of Adjunct Senior Lecturer within the UWA School of Dentistry. This is as formal recognition of his significant contribution to the work and activities of the university.

Dr Pang does a fortnightly session at the university, supervising postgraduate orthodontic students in their clinical sessions there. You may also have seen these future orthodontists wandering around our clinic, on and off throughout the year. We open our clinic to them to shadow Dr Pang as he goes about his day and to experience working in private practice.

In other news, we would like to say well done to Mika, our March winner for the Good Toothbrushing Award.

Finally, a huge thank you to all our patients last Friday. We had to move everyone’s appointment to Currambine as there was a planned power outage for the day at our Hillarys clinic. Western Power has now put up a brand new power pole outside our clinic, replacing the old one that was a bit worse for wear. Fingers crossed that will be the last of the disruptions for a while.
