British Orthodontic Conference

24th-26th September 2026

Dr Pang has just come back from attending the British Orthodontic Conference this year, at the Brighton Centre, Brighton, UK.

The conference provided an update on a range of topics relevant for the orthodontic team, in both primary and secondary care. It ran for three days. The conference had scientific and non-clinical lectures, a trade exhibition, and poster abstract sessions. It is the UK’s flagship orthodontic event, and Dr Pang really enjoyed listening to the diverse line-up of speakers.  This year’s conference featured speakers from across orthodontics and beyond, covering clinical excellence, multidisciplinary care, digital innovation, wellbeing, leadership and future-focused practice development.

In the evening, Dr Pang enjoyed walking along the Brighton seafront, with its pebbled beach and the iconic Brighton Palace Pier. This was a good conference, well-run, and Dr Pang has returned to Perth ready to put into action some of the new ideas he has gained.
